1. Go to Start – Right Click Computer – Manage – Device Manager – USB
2. Make Sure there are no exclamation marks
3. Go to Start – All Programms – Accessories – Notepad
4. Ensure the cursor is blinking
5. Scan Bar-codes
6. Bar-codes should show in notepad. Scanner is working as it should. Please contact software vendor
